Block 12 - Install new PCK/TPC
Description
New planetary constants, or an update RA and DEC of Bennu pole, rotation rate, etc.
Procedure if parameters change a small amount (<3 deg)
- Capture state of system by running RESIDUALS and make a copy somewhere for comparison
- Update INIT_LITHOS.TXT and make_sumfiles.txt with new PCK/TPC
- Run MAKE_SUMFILES Option 1 to update the NOMINALS
- Capture state of system by running RESIDUALS again... did the s/c move the amount you would expect?
- Run DYNAMICS to set the sigmas to their proper value
- Update INIT_LITHOS.TXT to turn off overlaps and limbs on the LMK solution (stereo only) WB=1 WO=0 WL=0 WR=0.
- PIC_WEIGHT = 1 0 1 1 0
- GEOMETRY 210-3-n-n
- Reset INIT_LITHOS.TXT initial values
- GEOMETRY 210-3-n-n
- Iterate
