== Standard Configuration ==
It is suggested that the file system should be case insensitive.

The directory structure:
 * /opt/local/spc -- General SPC support directory.  This includes programs, scripts and support files that is needed by the SPC team.
 * /opt/local/spc/bin -- Scripts and programs that are outside of the standard SPC distribution
 * /opt/local/spc/<project>/ -- Project specific
 * /opt/local/spc/<project>/support/ -- Project specific support files
 * /opt/local/spc/<project>/SPICE/ -- Project specific SPICE kernels
 * /opt/local/spc/<project>/IMAGEFILES/
 * /usr/local/bin -- The executable SPC code
 * /usr/local/src -- The source SPC code
 * /Volumes/active -- The main working directory.  This should be hosted on spc1, and shared via NFT mount (or whatever allows spc1, spc2, and spc3 system to use).

The required software
 * ImageMagick - Installed in /opt/local/bin
 * SPC <version>
 * Altwg tools (done by AltWG and hosted on their /export/altwg)
 * Webserver with [[SPC-GUI-tools]]
 * gnuplot
 * GraphicsConverter

== Groups Needed ==
 * OREX/spc - Limited group to only those that will run/change the active SPC model
 * OREX/altwg - Broad group that includes all of the AltWG
