Description
RESIDUALS.TXT is a report created by residuals that looks for bad landmarks. A list explaining the numbers in the RESIDUALS.TXT file is shown below.
- In between the dot rows:
- The name of a landmark
- T (landmark has a map with it) or F (flat landmark, no image)
- Resolution
- Lat of landmark
- Wlon of landmark
- Radius
- Below the dot rows with the landmark name above them:
- 1st column - list of IMAGEFILES included in the landmark, overlaps with other landmarks, and limbs in that order
- 2nd column - error in deltaX (# of pixels in image resolution)
- 3rd column - is the error in deltaY (# of pixels in image resolution)
- 4th column is the magnitude of the error (combines deltaX and deltaY)
- 5th column is the magnitude of the error in physical units (km)
- Below the IMAGEFILES, overlaps, and limbs list
- Difference between predicted and actual control point (landmark) in meters.
- The error for each image
- Image name, pix residual, line residual (actual and solution should be), magnitude, km residual Mostly they are there for historical res
- Meter resolution, difference between predicted and actual
- Observations how many things RMS Residual (m) (vector residual)
